Celebrate Scottsdale's Western Heritage

Scottsdale La Parada parade

Starting today, Scottsdale celebrates its Western heritage with festivals, art walks, the Annual Pony Express Arrival, and culminating with the Parada del Sol parade.

Thursday, February 2 – Scottsdale Art District
Gold Palette ArtWalk will highlight entertainment, music, and special offerings at participating galleries.

Friday, February 3 – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Scottsdale’s Museum of the West The Hashknife Pony Express will arrive at noon with more than 20,000 pieces of U.S. mail. Museum entry will be free, live entertainment and food trucks will be available. Bonus: There will be kid-friendly events such as face painting.

Saturday, February 4 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Old Town Scottsdale
Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Celebration
There will be over 100 parade entries with horses, stagecoaches, and wagons representing many cultures. After the parade, Old Town Scottsdale will be the setting for a genuine good-time party for all, with food vendors and live entertainment. You won’t want to miss this! Parade Route Map
