Scottsdale transforms into a lively celebration of its Wild West roots every February. The festivities kick off with art walks and festivals, followed by the exciting arrival of the Hashknife Pony Express riders. Capping off the week is the grand finale, the Parada del Sol parade.
Thursday Evening – Scottsdale Art District
Enjoy live entertainment, music, and special attractions at participating art galleries.
Friday Afternoon – Scottsdale’s Museum of the West The Hashknife Pony Express is scheduled to arrive at noon, delivering over 20,000 pieces of U.S. mail. Admission to the museum will be free, and there will be live entertainment and food trucks available. Additionally, kid-friendly events including face painting will be offered.
Saturday Morning – Old Town Scottsdale
Join us for the Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Celebration! With over 100 parade entries showcasing horses, stagecoaches, and wagons from different cultures, it’s bound to be a fantastic event. After the parade, head over to Old Town Scottsdale for a lively party, complete with food vendors and live entertainment. You definitely don’t want to miss this!
Saturday and Sunday – Scottsdale Civic Center
Arizona Indian Festival is an inclusive inter-tribal event celebrating Indian culture, traditional arts, crafts, and foods of Arizona.
